Back in November 2013 Whippet Snippets & The Whippet Hotel decided to put a date in the diary to get some Whippety friends together for a beach walk. I think our first walk had around 24 Whippets, now we are averaging over double that. It's a pretty amazing sight to see so many Whippets having so much fun! West Witterings offers beautiful soft sand, and big wide open spaces and the walk usually takes about an hour. The walk is open to all well behaved pointy faces, and we are often joined by honorary hounds from the same family.
Check out this amazing drone video by Sky Exlplorer Tech for a glimpse of what our walks are like: https://vimeo.com/145787102
NEXT WALK Sunday February 25th 2018 - Festive jumpers optional!
Place: East Head, West Wittering Beach, Chichester, West Sussex. Drive as far as you can go to the end car park.
The beach & National Trust have been in contact with us - they are taking a bit more notice of the walks and are now are classing this as an 'organised event'. Please have a read the following rules so that we are all kept safe & hopefully can carry on our walks here.
