As you know, I am a bit of a fan of Charley Chau, not only the quality of their products, but there really personal approach to customer service. I love the fact that they are using their amazing talent to help a very worthwhile charity. Here's what they are saying about their new venture. I wish them the very best of luck!

The GRWE Big Memory Foam Dog Bed by Charley Chau

It’s big and it’s brilliant – perfect for big dogs that love to snooze!

Award-winning British dog bedding designers, Charley Chau, have teamed up with Greyhound Rescue West of England to launch a brilliant memory foam dog bed for big dogs that love to snooze.

Not only is the GRWE Big Memory Foam Dog Bed designed to keep big hounds in the comfort they deserve, Charley Chau is also donating 50% of the profits from the sale of the bed to support the work of GRWE: rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers all over the country.

The girls at Charley Chau have a real soft spot for skinny, pointy dogs, so it makes sense that GRWE is their official charity, especially when it’s estimated that over 6,000 greyhounds are “retired” from UK race tracks each year. The work that GRWE does is critical to giving at least some of these dogs a chance of life after racing - literally.

So what about the bed itself … designed by Charley Chau specifically for large breed dogs weighing up to 80 kg, the bed has all the features you would expect from any Charley Chau bed (super-comfy, upholstery grade fabrics, removable and machine washable covers and designed to perform over time) but the plain, simple styling of the smart outer cover is hiding something rather special that sets it apart from other XL memory foam dog mattresses.

Charley Chau has developed a high-performance waterproof mattress protector to keep the memory foam mattress in the GRWE Big Memory Foam Dog Bed not just clean but hygienically clean!

The mattress protector is waterproof, breathable and also coated with an anti-bacterial and anti-dust mite treatment to discourage unwelcome nasties from making their home in your dog’s bed. As well as being machine washable, the protector can be wiped clean in between washes with an anti-bacterial spray (use a pet-safe brand of course). Big dog beds don’t get much more practical than this!

The GRWE Big Memory Foam Dog Bed is another brilliant bed from Charley Chau, at £210 it’s not the cheapest memory foam dog bed in the market but it is quite possibly one of the best! A great investment for the comfort of big dogs everywhere. That every bed sold raises money for a great cause is the icing on the cake!

The GRWE Memory Foam Dog Bed by Charley Chau measures is priced at £210 (including the high-performance waterproof mattress protector) with 50% of the profits from the sale of the bed donated to GRWE. Find out more at
